Franklin Co. woman indicted in child's death | Crime

A Franklin County woman has been indicted on manslaughter charges in connection with a wreck that killed a toddler last year.

42 year old Donna Huckaba was behind the wheel of a car that crossed the median of County Road 34 and struck another car head on. A 15 month old girl was killed in the wreck. Huckaba wasn't hurt. Police say she was driving drunk at the time of the accident.

Authorities say the car seat holding 15 month old Angela Mejias wasn't properly installed, a fact that could come into play during Huckaba's trial.

Huckaba will be in court in mid-January and could face trial as soon as February.
