Gov. Bentley to give commencement speech at NWSCC

Governor Robert Bentley on Thursday will deliver the Spring Commencement address to the Class of 2012 from Northwest-Shoals Community College.

Thursday’s commencement will be a combined graduation ceremony for students from both the Muscle Shoals and Phil Campbell locations of NWSCC. Governor Bentley will encourage graduates to continue a life of service and leadership.

The Governor will also recognize students, faculty and staff for their efforts to help communities in Northwest Alabama recover from the April 27, 2011, tornado outbreak.

The commencement will be May 10 at the Florence-Lauderdale Coliseum at 7 p.m.
